René Allen-Casey is an accomplished professional with over 30 years’ combined enterprise risk management, audit and operations experience in both the local and regional corporate environments.

She joined VM as Group Chief Internal Auditor in January 2018, to lead the process of maintaining and strengthening a world-class internal control environment.

Before joining VM Group, René achieved great success in key positions at leading organisations, including in her roles as Operations Manager at Jamobile Payment Services Limited; Risk & Compliance Manager at Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Limited; Acting Chief Internal Auditor at the National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited; Group Internal Audit Manager at UGI Group Limited; and Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche.

René´ is an ACCA-certified Chartered Accountant; a Certified International Risk Manager (Jamaica Institute of Financial Services/Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Scotland, UK); and a Certified Internal Auditor (Institute of Internal Auditors).

She holds a Business Administration Diploma from the University of Technology (UTech) and a Spanish Diploma from the Venezuelan Institute for Culture & Corporation.

Her professional affiliations include: Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA); Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (FCA) – Member of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee; Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA); Member of the Practice Monitoring Committee of the Public Accountancy Board (PAB).
